Turning Loss into Purposeful Impact

Giving Back Events was founded from a place of love, loss, and a desire to make a difference. In 2015, I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer, a life-changing moment that pushed me to take action in her honor. Not long after, I began volunteering with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, helping to plan their annual 5K fundraising event. What started as a tribute quickly became a passion. For years, I worked alongside an incredible community of survivors, advocates, and families, using events as a way to raise both awareness and funds for the cause closest to my heart. That experience sparked something bigger.

Where Heart Meets Strategy

With a background in professional event planning and a heart for giving, I launched Giving Back Events to combine my expertise with my mission: to help others create powerful, purpose-driven events that inspire and give back. We specialize in organizing 5K walk/run events and golf tournaments that not only bring people together—but also raise critical support for causes that matter. While my personal journey began with pancreatic cancer advocacy, I’m honored to now help organizations of all kinds turn their events into vehicles for change.
